Made-to-measure, rebuilt from the tape up

Most of us have never actually been measured. We think that should change.

Ruware connects buyers directly with artisan tailors in Vietnam, built around one durable idea: a body measurement you take once, that stays accurate, and that any tailor can trust.

Every purchase starts from a size chart, not from you.

Standard sizing was built for post-war mass production, not for individual bodies. Buy online and you can't verify fit before it arrives — a fifth of online fashion is returned for exactly this reason. Buy in-store and you can try it on, but the mismatch is still there — you just pay for alterations instead of a refund.

Ruware starts from a measurement instead of a guess — taken once, trusted everywhere.

A marketplace, not a retailer.

Ruware doesn't hold stock and doesn't set price. Buyers and artisan tailors agree terms directly — we standardise the one thing that's historically made remote tailoring unreliable: the measurement itself.

No inventory

Every piece is made to order, by the artisan the buyer chooses.

No fixed price

Price reflects the artisan's own skill, materials, and positioning.

One measurement, reused

Taken once, refined over time, usable across every future order.

Deliberately narrow, on purpose.

We're not launching everywhere at once. Our first market is Vietnam, and our first focus is men's tailoring — a craft the region's ateliers are genuinely excellent at. Every other market and category follows once this one is proven, not before.

Vietnam — men's tailoring

Vendor onboarding underway with made-to-measure ateliers in Vietnam.

Live, not simulated.

Validation

Every maker is checked directly for production capability, export credentials, and made-to-measure experience before being listed.

Proof of concept

Onboarding artisan ateliers in Vietnam and selling to buyers in the UK.

Funding

Raising an SEIS investment round to scale vendor onboarding and complete the measurement platform.
